Latest work, Five Ways to Wellbeing Project. Clay Workshops

Cast glass berries & seeds

Over the past weeks I've been working with pupils at three very different schools to create some legacy artworks, inspired by the Five Ways to Wellbeing,  It's a health initiative promoting positive attitudes for a healthy life. The artworks reflect the key messages:
Connect, Give, Take Notice, Keep Learning & Be Active. We started with a series of workshops collecting natural objects & pressing them into clay.

Collecting textures during a nature trail.
Designing freehand directly into clay.
Printing with leaves into clay.

A selection of the clay textures created by the pupils.
